Attorney & Employer Relations Marketing Specialist
Position Summary
Power Health Colorado is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated Attorney & Employer Relations Marketing Specialist to develop and grow relationships throughout Colorado’s personal injury, workers’ compensation, employer, and community networks.
This is not a traditional desk-based marketing role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being in the community, building genuine relationships, identifying new opportunities, setting meetings, coordinating events, visiting referral partners, and independently managing a pipeline of accounts and prospects.
The ideal candidate will already understand the personal injury and/or workers’ compensation market. However, we are also open to someone who is highly driven, relationship-oriented, and capable of learning these industries quickly.
This individual will be expected to take ownership of their territory and relationships with minimal day-to-day supervision while working closely with Power Health Colorado leadership and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Attorney & Personal Injury Relationship Development
Develop and maintain relationships with personal injury attorneys, law firms, case managers, paralegals, legal assistants, and other referral partners.
Identify and pursue new law firm relationships throughout Colorado.
Schedule and conduct introductory meetings, lunches, office visits, presentations, and educational events with attorney partners.
Maintain consistent communication with existing accounts and identify opportunities to grow referral volume.
Educate attorney offices regarding Power Health Colorado’s services, locations, providers, treatment capabilities, communication processes, and patient experience.
Act as a liaison between referral partners and Power Health Colorado when service concerns, opportunities, or feedback arise.
Workers’ Compensation & Employer Development
Build relationships with employers, HR departments, occupational health contacts, adjusters, case managers, brokers, third-party administrators, and other workers’ compensation stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for Power Health Colorado to become a preferred or trusted medical resource for workplace injuries.
Assist with employer outreach, educational presentations, injury-response programs, and community partnerships.
Develop relationships with businesses and organizations that may benefit from direct access to Power Health Colorado’s clinical services.
Events & Community Partnerships
Plan, coordinate, and attend networking events, attorney events, employer events, community events, sponsorships, educational presentations, and other relationship-development opportunities.
Identify organizations, associations, chambers, nonprofits, businesses, and community groups that align with Power Health Colorado’s growth strategy.
Coordinate event logistics, invitations, promotional materials, follow-up, and relationship tracking.
Represent Power Health Colorado professionally at external events and functions.
Create opportunities for Power Health Colorado providers and leadership to participate in educational or relationship-building events.
Account Management & Growth
Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, active accounts, follow-ups, opportunities, and referral activity.
Develop account-specific plans for important attorney firms, employers, and community partners.
Monitor referral trends and identify accounts that are growing, declining, or require additional attention.
Regularly communicate account feedback and market intelligence to leadership.
Follow up consistently and independently without needing daily reminders or direction.
Use CRM and reporting tools to document outreach, meetings, opportunities, account activity, and next steps.
Market Development
Stay informed regarding the Colorado personal injury and workers’ compensation markets.
Understand Power Health Colorado’s clinical services well enough to confidently communicate how and when referral partners should utilize the organization.
Identify competitor activity, emerging referral opportunities, market changes, and partnership opportunities.
Provide leadership with feedback regarding what attorneys, employers, patients, and community partners are looking for from healthcare organizations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in healthcare marketing, business development, attorney relations, workers’ compensation, personal injury, employer relations, medical sales, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Existing knowledge of the Colorado personal injury or workers’ compensation market is highly desirable.
Candidates without direct PI/WC experience must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn a complex referral-driven industry.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable initiating conversations, walking into businesses and offices, making calls, sending outreach, and developing new relationships.
Highly organized and capable of independently managing multiple accounts, follow-ups, meetings, and events.
Self-directed and able to work effectively without constant supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, dependable, and comfortable representing Power Health Colorado in the community.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Denver metro area and other Colorado markets as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience using a CRM or similar business-development tracking system is preferred.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is measured by more than simply attending networking events. The successful candidate will consistently create new relationships, deepen existing accounts, generate measurable referral opportunities, and become a trusted point of contact for Power Health Colorado’s attorney, employer, and community partners.
Performance may be measured through:
New attorney and employer accounts developed
Growth in referrals from assigned accounts
Account retention and relationship activity
New meetings and qualified opportunities generated
Events and partnership opportunities developed
Referral growth within targeted markets
Consistent CRM documentation and follow-up
Overall contribution to organizational growth
Compensation
Base Salary: $50,000 annually
In addition to base compensation, this position will be eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to measurable account development, referral growth, account performance, and other established business-development goals.
The bonus structure is intended to reward individuals who actively build and grow meaningful relationships rather than simply maintain existing accounts.
Ideal Candidate
You may be a strong fit for this position if you are someone who naturally builds relationships, remembers to follow up, enjoys being out in the community, and does not need someone standing over you telling you what to do next.
We want someone who sees an opportunity and pursues it.
Someone who can walk into an attorney's office, employer meeting, community event, or networking function and confidently represent Power Health Colorado.
Someone who understands that successful healthcare marketing is ultimately about trust, responsiveness, consistency, and relationships.
If you already know the PI and workers’ compensation world, even better. If you do not, we need someone capable of learning it quickly and taking ownership of becoming an expert in the market.
